How to Make
In a heavy saucepan cook bay leaves with olive oil over a moderate heat, turning occasionally until leaves are lightly browned, 2 to 3 minutes.
Add garlic and sauté until lightly golden about 2 minutes.
Add rice, salt and pepper, stirring occasionally.
Add broth and bring to full boil, uncovered over high heat. Cover with a lid and cook until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender, about 15 minutes.
Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.
