Can I order your products directly from you?
We're sorry, but our company is not set up to sell directly to consumers. Instead, we sell to regional wholesale food distributors who stock your favorite stores with our products.
Can you suggest a mail order company or website that sells your products?
We have a list of places you can purchase our products online.
Is Imagine Foods a public or private company?
Imagine Foods has merged with The Hain Celestial Group, Inc. which is a public company. Our stock is traded on NASDAQ.
Our Packaging
Are your aseptic packages recyclable?
Yes. Nearly 11 million households now recycle aseptic cartons at curbside. To find out more, contact your local recycling center or the Aseptic Packaging Council.
Are your aseptic packages lined with aluminum?
Aseptic cartons are made of 70% paper, 23% polyethylene and 7% aluminum. The aluminum is completely covered by two layers of FDA approved, food-grade polyethylene, so the food and the aluminum never come in contact.
Do your aseptically packaged products require refrigeration?
No, they are shelf stable. Only the unused portion requires refrigeration.
What's the shelf life of your aseptically packaged products?
An unopened package will remain fresh for one year from the date of manufacture. You'll find a "best before" date clearly stamped on all of our products.
Are the Imagine soup and broth containers microwavable?
No, please pour into a microwavable bowl before heating in the microwave.
Is the 16 oz package reclosable?
No. Unlike the 32 oz package that has a reclosable cap, the smaller 16 oz soup package is intended for single use.
Our Products
Are the Soups and Broths Organic?
All varieties of Imagine soups and broths, except Creamy Portobello Mushroom and Lobster and Crab Seafood Bisques, are certified organic. We are still looking for a consistent supply of organic Portobello mushrooms, and once a supplier is located, we intend to produce an organic version of that as well.
How many people will one 16 oz container serve?
While we refer to the small soup container as a "single serve" size, it actually contains two servings. It works well as a substantial meal for one, or a mini meal for two. It all depends on how hungry you are!
Are the soups and broths non-GMO?
All varieties are non-GMO.
Do the soups or broths contain MSG?
No, none of our products contain MSG.
Can the unused portion be frozen?
Yes.

Are the soups and broths gluten free?
All varieties except Organic Creamy Chicken and Imagine Bistro™ Bisques are gluten free.
Are Imagine soups Kosher?
All of our organic vegetable soups, broths and cooking stocks are Kosher, as well as our Organic No-Chicken Broth.
Do any varieties contain soy?
Yes, Organic Creamy Broccoli, Organic Creamy Sweet Corn and Creamy Portobello Mushroom contain organic soymilk.
Are the soups and broths dairy free?
All of our products are dairy free, with the exception of Lobster Bisque and Crab Bisque.
Why does Imagine Foods sell Chicken Broth? I thought you were a vegetarian food company.
Great question. Imagine Foods is not actually, nor were we ever, a "vegetarian" food company. We are a company that makes high quality natural foods — and by virtue of that fact, most of them are vegetarian and dairy free. Our primary mission when Robert Nissenbaum founded the company in 1982 was to offer the best tasting, highest quality natural food products available anywhere.
In response to countless requests to do so, we recently introduced Imagine Natural Organic Free Range Chicken Broth, Organic Beef Broth, Organic Beef Cooking Stock and Organic Chicken Cooking Stock. While there are many brands of chicken and beef broths and stocks available in stores today, we were determined to make ours the best. They are certified organic, made from free-range chickens and organic beef, they contain no genetically altered ingredients and they are all natural. We also offer our Organic Free Range Chicken and Organic Beef Broths in Low Sodium varieties. We are extremely proud of the results, and are happy to offer what we consider to be some of our finest products.
At the same time we respect the fact that many people have philosophical, ecological and health reasons for avoiding animal derived ingredients. For those people we continue to make Imagine Natural No-Chicken Broth and Vegetable Broth; both certified organic, non GMO and delicious.
