Ingredients
¼ teaspoon of Hain Sea Salt
½ teaspoon of coarsely ground black pepper
Directions
- In a heavy saucepan cook bay leaves with olive oil over a moderate heat, turning occasionally until leaves are lightly browned, 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add garlic and sauté until lightly golden about 2 minutes.
- Add rice, salt and pepper, stirring occasionally.
- Add broth and bring to full boil, uncovered over high heat. Cover with a lid and cook until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender about 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.
This recipe is perfect served with Cajun Shrimp Stew.
